BE A CHANGE AGENT.

BE A BLUE ZONES PROJECT AMBASSADOR.

Be a part of something BIG.

Blue Zones Project® Petaluma is a movement to improve the health and well-being of all residents. We will all benefit from healthier changes that are coming to schools, worksites, restaurants, grocery stores, and more.

Ambassadors are the catalysts and driving forces behind these changes. We need your voice to spread the word.

CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY AND IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING.

Ambassadors are part of a team. You’ll connect with people from across your community and build lasting friendships. Connecting with others who value well-being is proven to improve your health. Get involved and feel good knowing that while helping others, you’ll be helping yourself, too.

GAIN LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE.

Ambassadors gain leadership experience through their involvement in a variety of projects. You’ll motivate and inspire individuals within your own organization to take actions that improve health and well-being and, in the process, you’ll build confidence and leadership skills that you can take with you wherever you go. The main things you need are passion and commitment. We’ll train you in less than two hours on the easy steps it takes to be successful.

CHANGE THE FUTURE.

Ambassadors are the voice of change in the places where they spend time. If you have ideas on ways to create a healthier culture in your community, now is your chance to turn them into reality. You’ll have the support of the Blue Zones Project community and Ambassador team to help you every step of the way.

WHO CAN BE AN AMBASSADOR?

Anyone who is active in a group or organization, whether it’s a civic group (Rotary), book club, association, faith-based organization, fitness group, girl scout troop, PTA, etc. Prospective Ambassadors should possess the following traits:

  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to various events of your choice.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.

WHAT DO AMBASSADORS DO? THREE THINGS:

  1. Share information. We’ll send you information about events and opportunities. Pass it along to get others involved.
  2. Recruit people to complete the Personal Pledge. This simple step helps people begin their journey toward improved health and well-being. It’s free and there’s no selling required—just share the information you are passionate about.
  3. Lead changes inspired by Blue Zones in your organization. We provide a list of simple changes organizations can make to improve their members’ well-being. Get a few people together to pick what is right for your group.

Blue Zones Project Petaluma

Blue Zones Project® is a community-driven well-being initiative designed to make healthy choices easy

Last week we were honored to lead a training for educators/staff at Old Adobe Union District! Staff were able to learn and practice Trauma Informed approaches and explore how ACES affect our own behaviors and individuals we work with everyday. Nichole Warwick, our Executive Director, has a background in Educational Psychology and our Public Policy Lead Richard De Lèon brings a wealth of knowledge from his time leading workshops with the Hannah Institute. 💡💭Consider asking how can Blue Zones Project Petaluma can support the health and well-being practices in *your* Worksite, School, or Organization of any kind?
